Saturday Morning Lecture

Main Buildig of the Leibniz University of Hannover Main Buildig of the Leibniz University of Hannover Main Buildig of the Leibniz University of Hannover

Under the motto “Early Start - Physics for Bright Minds”, the faculty hosts a public lecture (in German) several times per semester. These lectures are usually held on Saturdays from 11:00 to 13:00 in the main physics lecture theatre (room e214). They consist of a lecture lasting around one hour and an always very lively question and answer session / discussion.

Since winter semester 2002/03, these lectures have provided insights into fundamental questions and current research topics in physics. They are particularly aimed at schoolchildren, teachers and students of all disciplines, but all those who would like to experience the fascination of science live are welcome.
